When is On Destiny's Ocean going to be published?
When it's ready! It's going through serious rewrites.

For now, but you never know. After all, >spoiler< big changes will be happening in On Destiny's Ocean!
It depends.
I love Spirit Island, either solo or with others. One of these days, I'll get a six-player game of it together
Concordia is my favorite 'simple' Eurogame. On Mars is my favorite Vital Lacerda game, and his games usually make complex Euros look like mid-weights. Along with Spirit Island, these are probably my three favorites
Brass:Birmingham is a fave; yes, I prefer it to Brass:Lancashire, and I don't mind that makes me a carebear. Awaiting Brass:Pittsburgh, but that's 3Q2027 if I remember correctly, though of course I backed it
If you were to graph how much I like games on the x-axis against how terrible I am at them on the y-axis, Power Grid would make the largest rectangle
For worker placement, it's Orléans (with Trade Beneficial Deeds board, natch), also Dune:Imperium (far better than any licensed IP game has a right to be; q.v., also Battlestar Galactica)
When it comes to auctions, it's going to be one of the good Dr. Knizia's children: Medici if we've got 5-6 players, else Modern Art if we've got the time to play it or High Society if not. (I can take or leave Ra, his supposed masterpiece)
Ameritrash faves: Battlestar Galactica and Axis & Allies. Special mentions to Diplomacy and especially Cosmic Encounter, the boardgame I've probably played more than any other. Not a great game in a technical sense, but an excellent experience generator!
Sorry, next question.
